Frowny Morgan

So I received a tip that Morgan was in a snit that the FBI honored the ECSO deputies who were involved in the NAS shooting. Now let’s put this in perspective. Morgan refused to recognize Mike Hoyland as THE one that shot the terrorist. He was the only one running towards the shooter, who didn’t flee. He honored the two who hid and got shot through a door and the other was shot in “friendly fire”. But why begrudge heroes under your command?

So I started looking online for photos of Morgan and these ceremonies. These photos are from January, 2020.

Now just look at Morgan in these pics. I realize he probably wanted some gravitas, but there is no pride on his face. He truly begrudges these men.

Your information is off in this article. There were two other men, Matthew Housam and Matthew Keebler that were side by side with Hoyland as well as others who were injured, tended to the injured, or faced equipment malfunctions. Please don’t insult the family members of these others who were brave. Not everyone ran away. Fun fact did you know Hoyland did not have his rifle that day and had to borrow one from the above mentioned men leaving him with just a handgun to confront the suspect, but he went forward anyway

    1. Were you there? Here’s what someone THERE said:

Why weren’t they already inside with their rifles? Hoyland got there well after their arrival (in active shooter time) and they weren’t using the rifle. Hoyland made the right choice and killed the bad guy. He ran towards the shots and didn’t hide.

they arrived at the same time worked on the same shift. Hoyland even admits in an interview so this information comes straight from his mouth so maybe you should also ask him. And if it’s him saying these things then shame on him too. He wasn’t the only one in the building and there were other families impacted by this terrible event. Don’t belittle them all for the acts of others. The voice on the radio in the tribute video saying the shooter was down isn’t even hoyland so logic would say someone else was there

      2. I had a conversation with Hoyland. He had a conversation with your husband after the incident. You can say whatever you want but your husband knows what happened. Hoyland doesn’t want to broadcast what the conversation was because he doesn’t think your husband needs to be embarrassed. You may have gotten a story that dressed up your husband’s participation to save face. Hoyland said not everyone can run to the shots mentality.

Now that’s how I know who did what ma’am. Hoyland has more concern with sparing your hubby’s embarrassment than you do. That’s what heroes do. I think Hoyland deserves some respect here. Your hubby got accolades for the incident from Morgan and whomever.

Btw my beef isn’t with Morgan in this. He didn’t have the ability to recognize valor. He never has. He’s a legend in his own mind. Hoyland never wanted the praise. Again that’s what heroes do. My hubby is a veteran. You can separate the true heroes from the false ones by the way they handle the aftermath. The fact Hoyland doesn’t want me to dress you down on the blog is something you should be thanking him for.
